And those people are elected for life. As an European, I just don’t get it.
Neither do us Americans. Our countries lawmakers are bought and paid for
They aren’t elected.
Many Americans don’t like this system, for what it’s worth.
As an American, I do.
Our entire government exists to serve the wealthiest people in this country, and it's working. Yes, the court just killed abortion rights and affirmative action, but neither of those issues affect wealthy Americans, and those same wealthy Americans will put between two and four billion dollars into the 2024 elections, money that our legislators can take legally by loaning their political campaigns money at 20% interest, AND BOTH PARTIES DO IT.
