Trying to play tears of the kingdom however the button location for sprint and jump are really holding me back. I don’t remember struggling this much with botw.

have you tried swapping it in the settings?

It just flips them. They should be next to each other like every other game.

I noticed the struggle when I was replaying BOTW before TOTK came out. There is a way to change the sprint or jump buttons, but I'm too use to the controls and not at the same time.

It just swaps them. They need a control scheme where they are next to each other.

I'm facing the same issue. I played botw emulated with an Xbox controller and it felt way more natural.

I wish more games allowed full controller remapping.
