This was a random meme I saved but yeah the art scene is really small here.
Artists Read: Fake Internet points are there for the taking!
Fake Internet points don't mean anything on Lemmy though. They don't conglomerate into a nice big number that you can look back on to feel better about yourself (you have no idea how hard artists are on themselves). You get them for a single post and then they vanish into the ether.
I know that there were (are?) browser extensions that fetch and display "karma" on profiles, at the very least on firefox. Might be worth a search for people interested in statistics and numbers going up.
