Speaking of which, is there a way to find out the total number of subscribers to a community? I think I can only see the number on each particular instance.

I think so. I've only been on this thing a few days and it seems to be growing fast. One thing that seems to help is to subscribe to interesting communities on other instances to help other new people find them easier.

You should also check out some of the communities on lemmy.studio. It's an instance for musicians that I think will pair nicely with this one.
