There are about 25 flowers/buds on new growth from this year! I pruned back the older growth and deadheaded it yesterday.

Mine just bloomed for the first time in years. I legit thought it was dead lol

Hah! The dead may never die! I think it appreciates the hardwood mulch since it helps the soil towards the acidic side of things
