RULES
While this is s community focused on Android, some of us have devices from the Android, Apple, Windows and Linux worlds, etc. We may prefer Android, but overzealous and obsessive adherence to Android as some sort of infallible platform won't be tolerated long here.
That said, being critical of brands is fine. Android is frustrating in some ways, just like iOS and so forth. Let's be upfront about that.
Be thoughtful and helpful, even with 'stupid' questions. Otherwise, as ya mama said, say nothing at all. The world won't be made better or worse by snarky dudes schooling naive newcomers on Lemmy.

Pixel 6A in the yellow/green (?) colorway
Very. I've enjoyed (most of) Google's devices since the Nexus days, and the Pixel line continues to satisfy. The 6A for me has great battery life and is just the right size in the hand. It's getting harder and harder to find a reasonably small device, so I'm glad Google is still keeping that going (for now). There are a few software quirks that really, really annoy me. I'm STILL angry that Google took away the On/Off/On If Silent universal switch for vibration, and I think the quick settings tiles in the Pixel launcher are ugly as sin.
So, so many. Started my smartphone journey with a Blackberry Curve 8310, then I was team iPhone from the 3G up to the 6S. I bounced around from OEM to OEM in the wild west days of Android devices, usually preferring HTC. Probably my favorite phone ever was the HTC One M8. My favorite recent device was the Z Fold 3.
When I either get bored, or something compelling enough comes out. Otherwise every 2-3 years.
Pixel Watch LTE, Pixel Buds Pro, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. I really wish someone besides Sammy would make a decent US market Android tablet. We'll see how the Pixel tab goes.
Android all the way. Personal computer is Zorin OS, work PC is Windows 11.
