Browsing through ebay I found this offer:

ECC Registered RAM, 64GB 3200 at about $90 per piece.

A bargain! But the manufacturer is "Memory Bay"... Have you ever heard of that? Any idead whether this might be a bargain or a nightmare?

I've never heard of them but I've bought a lot of random RAM before. If they use proper RAM chips like micron, Kingston, hynix, Samsung, etc then I wouldn't be too worried.

Is there any “non proper” RAM manufacturer anyways?

All ram packages come from like 4 companies, and memory nearly never fails anyways.
