Ended up taking a huge chunk out the side of her head. It was a massacre. There were tears and panic attacks, it was pretty full on and sucked to see her so upset.

I did the deed, my daughter told her she looks bad-ass, like Ripley and she's finally come around to how great she looks with a shaved heid.

Anyone got any horror haircut stories I can use to cheer her up? Cheers!

We've recently moved.

A couple of days ago we had a DPD delivery that we weren't expecting which turned out to a luxury cheese subscription box intended for the previous resident (whose name is fairly similar to my SO, adding to the confusion).

We contacted the supplier. They thanked us and - it being chilled food - said we could keep it anyway.

So, six good size portions of cheese, three of which were very pleasant with some cider for dinner yesterday and will keep us going for at least a couple more sessions. Three more still unopened. The Berkswell is one that I had not heard of before and will be getting again - although at those prices, only occasionally.

Overall, an enjoyable and unexpected house-warming contribution.

Are we doing a TV Tuesday? We've just finished watching Annika. It was sort of refreshing to watch a "murder of the week" style show again. The best part of the show was obviously Nicola Walker, but also and Silvie Furneaux as her daughter Morgan. As a listener to the Doctor Who audios, Nicola's scenes and obvious chemistry with Paul McGann was a high point too.

Anyway, we've finished that last night so looking for recommendations!
